General Rules:

RULE #1: FAIR PLAY.
Put simply, don’t do something against the spirit of fair competitive play. If you’d be upset if what you’re doing would happen to you, don’t do it.

Roster Rules:
- Teams will be allowed to roster 4 players, and one backup.
- Teams will be controlled by the designated team leader, except for a special case listed below.
- Teams will only be able to play with their designated roster, no subs outside of the one backup player.
- Rosters for events will be locked upon registration, and will be unlocked when your team is eliminated from the tournament.
- Additional rules for tournament series:
- – Teams will be given rank points based off of how they place in the tournament, this will seed future events, as well as wild card qualifiers.
- – Points are retained by the teams, not the players. If the team splits up, the team’s points/qualification is forfeited.
- – Teams must maintain 60% of their last roster to maintain rank points.
- – Players from a team may ‘mutany’, and take over the team’s rank points/qualification from the leader if 3 of the 4 other players form another squad for the next event.

Check In/Match Start:
- Matches must be played at their scheduled time, unless a reschedule is approved by the tournament director.
- Teams must check in to be allowed to play. Check in rules will vary depending on tournament, and will be listed in the tournament specific rules. The team captain may check in via email/PM. If the team captain does not check in, their team will forfeit their spot in the tournament.
- Teams have 10 minutes from the scheduled match time to have their entire roster ready. Only players listed on the roster page for that team are elgible to play. Teams will not be considered complete if attempting to use an inelgible player. Teams need at least 3 players to begin a match. If a team of elgible players are not on and ready to play within 10 minutes, the incomplete team will forfeit.
- Teams will be allowed a 5 minute break between maps.

Drop Policy:
- Teams may continue a map if a player has dropped to the conclusion of the map. If a player drop leaves a team with less than three players, that team will forfeit that map, and have 5 minutes for the dropped player to return, or to replace them with an eligible player.

Host Policy:
- The team listed on the top of the bracket will host the first map. Map host will alternate between teams.
- Tiebreaker map host
- – In a bo3, the team that has won the most rounds will host the tiebreaker map. In case of round count tie, team listed on the top of the bracket will host the tiebreaker map.
- – In a bo5, the team that hosted the first map, will host the tiebreak map.
- Teams may select any player on their squad to host their maps. If the map has incorrect settings that adversely impacts gameplay, the hosting team will forfeit that map. If the host ends a map prior to it’s conclusion, the hosting team will forfeit that map.
- A team may request a lag test for the first map their opponent is hosting, which is required to be given by the hosting team. A lag test is one round on a map not in that round’s rotation, to see if host is acceptable. Only 2 lag tests per match, per team must be granted. Once an acceptable host is found, that host must be used in the remainder of that team’s hosted maps. No lag test is permitted after each team has hosted one map.

Cheating/Glitching:
- Any exploitation of the game that gives an unfair advantage to a team is not allowed. This includes, but is not limited to cheating, glitching, and lag switching. Proof will be required to overturn a map, and must be submitted on conclusion of the map. All decisions subject to discretion of the Tournament Director.

Match reporting:
- Match scores must be reported by both team captains after the match concludes. Winner, and map count must be reported, along with any proof.

Proof:
- Proof will be required to report a match, as well as for any dispute. Video proof is preferred, however picture proof may be accepted depending on the situation. Below is a list of things proof is required for, as well as what type of proof will be accepted.
